Get To Know Me

Hello! I'm Zoe Hughes.

I'm from Birmingham, Alabama, and am a die-hard Auburn fan. Choosing a university was never a hard decision for me because I knew I was supposed to end up at Auburn. Home is a mere two-hour drive from Auburn, but I would consider that to be the perfect distance. I love being close to home. My family is super important to me and has shaped me into the person that I am today. That person is a lover of all things fast-paced, exciting and new.

Learning about people and how they act, react and communicate is something I have always been interested in. It led me to my passion for meeting different people and exploring different places and communities. I love forming new relationships with the people I meet - I find forming meaningful relationships to be very important. Those are the relationships you can rely on any given day, and the ones that push you out of your comfort zone. All of the traits that make me led me here - to public relations.

I knew I wanted to pursue public relations since I was in 9th grade. I didn't know the nitty-gritty details of what PR professionals did on a daily basis, but I knew the basics - people-loving, outgoing and creative. From then on I was sold. I craved an outlet for my creativity, and I have found that outlet through my writing - I have found it through public relations.

I hope you have enjoyed getting to scratch the surface of getting to know me. Feel free to look through the rest of my website and learn more about my education, resume and portfolio.

My hometown. It will always hold a special place in my heart, and I'm so thankful to have grown up in Birmingham.
